Parker Consulting Services (PCS) was established by Kevin and Darren Parker in order to offer high level, detail oriented consulting services.  Known as 'the ones to go to' for creative solutions and problem solving skills the inception of PCS in 2015 was a natural and fitting outcome.  At the core of PCS is a commitment understanding our clients needs and providing a quality of service that is second to none.  While PCS thrives on new challenges our core offerings are as follows;

Darren Parker

Darren brings a very diverse professional background to your project needs.  Mr. Parker graduated Cum Laude with a Psychology and Marketing B.A. degree from York University. This was followed by a BComm Cum Laude from Ryerson University, majoring in business management with a minor in finance.

Corporate B2B sales development skills were honed at Canon where he benefited from their well known advanced training program. From here Darren moved on to Edward Jones were he became a fully licensed financial advisor and insurance broker building and managing a multi-million dollar portfolio. These multiple years of one on one consultation in such a trust based agency relationship were as equally challenging as they were rewarding.

Soon an opportunity arose to join the recently introduced Ontario Feed in Tariff (FIT) program. From this point Darren spent over three years building a start up solar company from four employees to over thirty while managing over 50 dealer accounts across Canada. Darren was heavily involved in multiple business aspects at this point including sales, marketing, forging strategic partnerships and stewarding continued business development.

Over the past decade Darren has been imbedded in the Ontario construction scene as a hands on commercial roofing and solar expert.  Darren and his team have engaged in a multitude of special projects, contract negotiations, sales training and business improvement initiatives across multiple industries with an emphasis on Commercial and Industrial construction projects.

 

Kevin Parker

Trained as Chartered Accountant Kevin brings a very strong financial background with extensive experience in controlling costs, turning assets, improving margins through sales mix and GP retention. With over 30 years of management experience in the retail and B2B market he has become adept at maximizing available resources and achieving successful results.

An extremely competent and personable leader Kevin has managed over 200 individuals and in the process built effective management, talented marketing, committed purchasing and loyal accounting teams.  Kevin is known to address each situation, problem and opportunity through an extremely logical point of view; the entire scope or ‘whole picture’ is always considered.  This is a valuable trait and has always allowed him to be a
very successful negotiator.  Kevin strength's are leading high-level operational initiatives, including brand building, system design, business diversification and expansion while retaining a focus on return on assets.  A personable and respected mentor Kevin leads by example and endorses
positive corporate culture.

Kevin understands the value of building all departments within a business as it is always the weak department that reduces a company’s true potential.  Among other accomplishments Kevin also envisioned, founded and spearheaded the creation of the now annual ProFusion Expo; Canada's premiere pro imaging technology event.
